Chickamuaga rope swing clean up

Join Green Steps as we clean up this little swimming area by the Chickamauga dam, on July 23rd.

For July, we would like to focus our efforts on smaller areas, due to the potential dangers of snakes and poisonous plants.

Meet at the second pull out area, as you drive up Lake Resort Dr.

We will pick up trash for an hour or so and then go swimming afterwards! As always we will provide some snacks, but don't forget to bring lunch, water, sunscreen, appropriate clothing and gloves.

Hope to see y'all on the 23rd!

Suck Creek clean up

Chattanooga folks! we are doing a clean up at Suck Creek and we need your help! Join us on Sunday the 25th, to pick up litter around three of the main hangout spots, and get free food, drinks and prizes!

** Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in the event. Because of your hard work, we picked up about 200 bags of trash, a toilet, a car seat, chicken wire and a bunch of tires.
This is what Greensteps is all about. It's about bringing the community together to eradicate litter, while shedding light on the prevalence and hazards of litter around the Tennessee area.
